Choose the original sign-in method
Our terms list Google, Discord and email with a password as account-entry methods. Use the method offered for your account on the sign-in screen; do not assume that two providers automatically share one account.
Before granting access through a provider, check the domain and the provider account being used. A browser can already be signed in to a different Google or Discord identity.
Recover access without sharing credentials
For an email-and-password account, use the recovery option presented by the sign-in screen. If you sign in through Google or Discord, recover the provider account through that provider.
Never send a password, recovery link or one-time verification code in a community post. For a support request, identify the account and describe the failure without exposing the credentials needed to enter it.
When a thread or payment appears missing
- Compare the current account and sign-in provider with the account used for the conversation or purchase.
- Check whether the missing item is a private Kyn, a conversation thread or a paid entitlement; they are different records.
- Keep the transaction confirmation if a purchase is involved and contact support before buying access again.
Resolve a sign-in loop carefully
Update the browser and allow the cookies required for the sign-in flow. If a privacy extension blocks the provider return, test a separate browser profile instead of disabling protections across every website.
Do not repeatedly create new accounts to work around a sign-in or trial issue. Keep a note of the exact error, time and browser if you need help.
