Characters and conversations

RPG and Group Scenarios

A story can involve more than one voice without using the same setup. We support RPG personas, profiles written to portray several characters, and linked multi-Kyn scenes. Knowing which one you have opened makes its commands and behavior easier to understand.

An RPG persona acts as a narrator

An RPG Kyn can manage a setting, non-player characters and consequences instead of speaking only as one person. Its author defines the style of the experience and any game-like mechanics.

For example, an expedition might track a party objective, supplies and a locked route. Ask the narrator to keep those three facts consistent. Do not assume an arbitrary command from another RPG will work in this one.

Linked groups and community scenarios

The documented current group system supports a lead Kyn with up to seven additional Kyns. Linked group access requires Premium Deluxe. Older classic rooms have a different limit.

A community scenario provides a prepared cast and an opening situation. Read the cast before starting: the lead character, world context and behavior overlays can have different jobs. More participants do not automatically produce a clearer story.

DLL and WRL have different meanings

Within Soulkyn, a .dll persona is a behavioral overlay, while a .wrl persona supplies a world and its rules. The names describe roles in chat context. They are not instructions to install a Windows executable or upload a 3D world file.

World files and behavior overlays can coexist through context linking. The documentation normally expects one active world unless a particular file is designed for layering. Keep the character identity, world and behavior change distinguishable.

Check the rules for the particular story

The RPG tools describe optional dice rolls, changing statistics, version pinning and controls for stopping a reply. Availability and commands depend on the persona.

Before a long session, establish who narrates, which character you control and which facts should carry forward. If the scene becomes inconsistent, return to those rules instead of adding another conflicting instruction.

Questions and answers

Is a Soulkyn RPG a downloadable game?

It is a text-driven roleplay experience inside a conversation. The persona may define game mechanics, but that is not the same as installing a standalone game with a fixed universal ruleset.

Does a profile with several characters equal a linked group?

No. One profile can be written to portray several voices. A linked group uses separate Kyns and context links, with its own access requirements and participant limits.

Do I need to run a DLL file on my computer?

No. The DLL label in this context refers to a persona used as a behavioral overlay. Do not treat a character name as a request to execute downloaded software.
